Wow! I can't believe that it's May
already! There are many upcoming, fun events happening at Alta
Vista. To name a few: The Art Vistas Show, Fantasy Faire, Olympic Day,
and the End-of-the-Year Class Party.
Thank you for coming to our show this morning! The children did an outstanding job! I'm so proud of each and every actor/actress for reciting their lines and the songs. Thank you parents for helping your child practice their lines and finding their costumes.

I sent home Homework packet #28 today. We worked on the Book Report together so that
page should be complete. We used and read
the story, The Pigeon Needs A Bath by Mo Willems.
We have really enjoyed seeing all the many places Stanley has been to. If your Stanley Display is ready, please bring him in when you can. He’s not due until May 10th, but if you need more time, let me know.
Along with a few other teachers I will be
attending a GLAD (Guided Language Acquisition Design) training from May 4-11th. We will have three different subs during this
time, which are all great with first graders.
We will have Mrs. Chinchiolo, Mrs. Hodges, and Mrs. McGowan.
