It was so nice to see everyone at Open House!
I hope your child had a chance to show you some things in our
classroom. On Thursday morning, our
class had a chance to walk through some of the other classrooms.
Thank you parents for contributing to our ice
cream sundaes! Thanks to Susie, Aeni,
and Lizl for scooping ice cream and keeping our sundae line running
smooth. J
The Art Show is this week in the cafeteria on
Thursday, 6/1 from 5:30-8:00
Olympic Day is coming up on Wednesday, 6/8. We will wear our class t-shirts that
day. The volunteer sign up should be
coming out soon.
Next week is Alta Vista Spirit Week:
Tuesday, 5/30: American Day (Wear Patriotic
colors)
Wednesday, 5/31: Wacky Wednesday
Thursday, 6/1: Color Day (1st grade’s
color is Orange)
Friday, 6/2: Hawaiian Attire Day
Monday is Memorial Day Observance and there is
no school.
