Week of September 24, 2018

Dear Families,

We had our second Rhythm and Moves PE today, thank you to HSC for funding this program!
On Monday, we worked in the MakerSpace with Strawbees.  The students worked in groups of three to build a bridge with the Strawbees (straws and connectors).  The challenge was to see if their bridge could withstand a road (two large pieces of construction paper).  We also started on STEAM bins inside the classroom. Here are some pictures.
For sharing this week, students may write down one way they show respect at home.  No need to write any clues. :)
We visit the library on Mondays from 9:30-10:00.  Students can check out 1 book each week. If your child forgets their book the following week, they cannot check out a new book.
If you have any questions or concerns about the homework or if your child is spending more than 15 minutes a day on the packet, please let me know.
Have a wonderful weekend.
