I wanted to
mention again that I was so proud of our class yesterday, having no power all
day, and continuing to try hard in class. Thanks again for the lanterns!!
Tomorrow is a
Staff Work Day and students do not have school.
We will not be
visiting the library this week because Monday is the MLK holiday, so your child
may keep their checked book for the remainder of the week.
The President’s
Report is due next week; please bring it on or before your child’s share
date. If your child’s regular share date
is Monday, you can choose any day during the week. If you need another copy, I will attach it to
the email.
Coming around the
corner, is the 100th Day of School on February 2nd! During this week (1/30) we will not have our
regular homework and spelling list. I
will be sending home information on Friday this week.
The other part of
the homework for the week of 100th day is to study the 100 Sight
Word List. We will have a spelling test,
using 25 words each day.
If you’re
interested in helping out with SPARK PE on Fridays, you can sign up on our
Shutterfly Shares site.
On the 100th
day, I
was hoping to make a 100th day snack with 100 items
for each student. If you’re interested in helping out with a donation, please
see the items we need here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1g3rsRQ0_OzoCidZE-Ve09flkwbFJOLpFxQ49EU6yrxU/edit?usp=sharing
Our classroom
could use more baby wipes and hand sanitizer.
I hope you will
enjoy the four-day weekend.
